How to prepare a research project?

To develop a research project we must follow the following steps. The list is a standard system (model) used by many researchers. Eye structure is not absolute, if you do not like it you can modify and present a format that works better. This is the theory, but when we put it into practice it is limited. Gentlemen researchers we must break schemes, the improvement of this version is in your hands.

Step 1

  • Tentative title
  • Index (optional in step 1)
  • Introduction (perform at the end of the investigation)

Step 2

  • CHAPTER I
  • 1.1. Statement of the Problem (Why, for what, what is the impact or value of the study?)
  • 1.2. Problem formulation  (
  • 1.3. Objectives (Where I want to go)
  • 1.4. Justification of the Investigation (why I am doing the investigation)
  • 1.5. Limitations (space and time)

Step 3

  • CHAPTER II
  • THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK
  • 2.1. Background of the investigation (How many investigations addressed the topic you want to develop)
  • 2.2. Theoretical bases (What scientific theories support)
  • 2.3. Definition of terms (Define concepts of main themes, for example: If my topic is abortion, I will define what abortion is)
  • 2.4. Variables (fact or phenomenon that has the condition of variability, that is, that can have cause or effect)

Step 4

  • CHAPTER III
  • METHODOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK
  • 3.1. Research level
  • 3 2. Design
  • 3.3. Population and sample
  • 3.4. Techniques and instruments for data collection
  • 3.5. Processing techniques and data analysis

Step 5

  • CHAPTER IV
  • ADMINISTRATIVE THEMES
  • 4.1. Resources: Materials, financial and human
  • 4.2. Schedule of activities
  • 4.3 BIBLIOGRAPHY
